Reggio Children Foundation
With the aim “Education and research to improve the lives of people and communities, in Reggio Emilia and in the world”, the non-profit Reggio Children-Loris Malaguzzi Centre Foundation was officially established on September 29, 2011 at the Loris Malaguzzi International Centre of Reggio Emilia.
The primary aims of the Foundation are: to disseminate the values of the Reggio Emilia Approach worldwide, also through encounters with other countries and other experiences; to contribute to the development of the Loris Malaguzzi International Centre as a place for research, innovation, and experimentation in the different fields of knowledge; to maintain and further develop the legacy of experience and quality of the Infant-toddler Centers and Preschools of Reggio Emilia, continuing the exchanges with the rest of the world.
The Foundation represents the further development of the Reggio Emilia Approach, which is no longer only an educational project for children from birth to six years old, but a possible approach aimed at the entire city and the cities of the world for the growth and well-being of the community.
